BEFORE VISION THERAPY: "I had a wide range of symptoms for 6 months nobody could diagnose. Vertigo? TBI? Unknown. But my life was miserable and mostly I was resting because my vestibular system was a mess."
NOW: "My days are much more manageable now. Occasionally I still need down time, but on the whole I am happier and able to do the things I want to do. My symptoms are considerably better and my eyes are working together better."

Today Dr. Jo and Amanda visited Young Roots Co-Op to educate the teachers about vision and learning! We discussed the many visual skills involved in reading, like focusing, eye teaming, eye tracking, visual memory and more! We demonstrated how disruptive double vision can be and understood why kids may avoid reading.

Today Dr. Jo and her husband are celebrating a milestone: 20 years of marriage! Here's to many more!

Tonight, in the Costco parking lot, a young woman looked at me and said, "You were my vision therapy doctor a long time ago, back at Central Point Eyecare!" She told me her name, and suddenly I remembered her as the sweet elementary student. Now she's a mom of two littles! I'm so glad she stopped me to say hello ❤️
