Phoenix Oncology Nursing Society The Phoenix Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society (PONS) was chartered as an ONS affiliate in 1983. Every member and associate members are welcome to attend.

Goals
•Expand public awareness of PONS contributions to quality cancer care in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
•Generate and disseminate essential knowledge for oncology nursing professionals in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
•Increase the recruitment of PONS members. Membership: RN's engaged in or interested in oncology nursing are eligible for membership. Others in allied health fields are elig

ible for associate membership (non-voting status). Membership in the national organization (ONS) is required for active membership in the chapter (PONS). Programs: Educational programs are offered every 2ND Thursday of each month with additional programs several times per year.
