Letts and Diffendall in our brand new comfortable office located in the heart of horse country in beautiful Jacksonville, MD. We are so thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful community and look forward to having the opportunity to work with you and your family. Our goal is to treat you the way we would want to be treated and to build a lifelong relationship. We are committed to greeting you with a smile, offering timely service as well as giving you superior care. We offer comprehensive eye examinations including glaucoma testing and dilated retinal evaluations. We are so fortunate to be able to offer corneal topography, retinal and anterior segment photography. We love fitting contacts and the tougher, the better! We are some of the few with experience fitting soft contacts, rigid gas permeables, Synergeyes, bifocals and Corneal Refractive Therapy. We also offer stylish, current eyewear for all the members of your family and will help you select the frame that was meant just for you! Most importantly, we want you to leave our office knowing that you were cared for from the moment you entered our door. We are honored that our patients have chosen us and allow us to experience the joys and sorrows of their lives and we treat that relationship with the highest of respect.

After 35 years working with Dr. Kovens in Hereford and 2 years with us, she is retiring!!
Congratulations!!! Thank you Jean for sharing your smile, your kindness & your expertise with us. You will be so missed! But, we are so happy that you get to spend time with your grandson showing his goat at the fair; watching your granddaughter play softball; hanging out with your partner, Scott & walking your beloved Labrador retriever, Billy. 🩷🎉

Wishing all of our patients, a very happy Fourth of July. Please remember to be safe while working with fireworks. Injuries cannot only burn the eyes, but can cause ruptured globes and permanent loss of vision. Always wear eye safety protection and stay far away. And even better, let the professionals do the fireworks.!!

Sometimes a completely routine eye visit comes with a surprise. This tiny deer tick was found on the upper lid of a patient. You can see just how small the tick is-to the naked eye, looked like a speck of dirt. During these summer months, please be diligent and check your skin for ticks. And another reason to have your eyes checked!
