Both our Royersford and Phoenixville locations will be CLOSED today, July 16th, from 12 PM to 3 PM for a staff meeting. Gotta keep the dream team sharp! 💪

🕒 Royersford will reopen at 3 PM today.
🗓️ Phoenixville will reopen Friday at 9 AM.

Before your sunglasses become a sea creature’s new accessory, here are some ways to keep them on your face — not floating toward Bermuda.

🛟 How to Protect Your Prescription Sunnies:
✅ Sports strap – not just for kids or athletes!
✅ Don’t wear them in the ocean – seriously, fashion isn’t worth the risk!
✅ Have a backup pair just in case (old sunnies or even a cheap spare)
✅ Hard case = beach bag essential
✅ Take them off before going wave-jumping, paddle boarding, or pretending you’re in a surf documentary 🏄

👁️ Wearing Contacts in the Ocean or Pool?
🚫 Don’t do it without swim goggles — waterborne bacteria can lead to serious infections
💧 Daily disposables are the safest option if you must wear contacts
😬 No, rinsing them in pool or tap water is NOT okay
🦠 Acanthamoeba keratitis sounds like a villain — and it kind of is. Don’t invite it into your eyeballs.

👁️ Never look directly at fireworks — even sparklers can burn at over 1,800°F!
🧨 Keep a safe distance from lighting zones.

I was so excited thanking the Community for another amazing Sunglass Day that I completely forgot to shout out someone else who helped make today so special — Gabby from Luxottica! 🙌

Gabby brought the Nuance Eyewear line to life today with her knowledge, energy, and passion! She educated so many people on this incredible brand and helped spread awareness in the best way possible. 💬👓 I’m so grateful she took time out of her busy schedule to be part of our day.
