Congratulations to Phoenixville Hospital’s newest Patient Safety Ambassador: Charlsie Moore, RN – 4 South. 👏

Charlsie’s Good Catch:
A patient was to be admitted from the Emergency Department to the med/surg level of care. In preparation for receiving the patient, Charlsie reviewed the patient’s record and noted that the patient's BP remained low. Charlsie reached out to the nursing supervisor, the hospitalist, and voiced her concerns. As a result of speaking up, the patient was upgraded to an IMC level of care prior to the patient arriving on the unit.

If you can't travel to one of these "pick your own" farms, local farmers' markets are another way to support our farming community.

🕯️ On this day of reflection, we honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders, medical teams, and everyday heroes who put others before themselves on September 11, 2001. Today, we stand with our community in remembering those we lost and extend our gratitude to all who serve to keep us safe.
