Today is the Great American Smokeout. π It is a nationwide movement that inspires people to take the first step toward quitting smoking and improving their health.
Even small steps make a difference. β²οΈ Within 20 minutes of quitting, heart rate and blood pressure begin to drop. π
Within one year, the risk of heart disease decreases by half.
If you are thinking about quitting, take it one step at a time. Try setting small goals like going without to***co for the morning, taking a walk when cravings hit, or reaching out to a friend for support. Celebrate progress each day and remember that slips do not erase your effort. πͺ
