Camels Hump Rain Barrels

Camels Hump Rain Barrels We manufacture rain barrels by recycling and repurposing empty olive barrels into high quality affordable rain barrels.

Camels Hump Rain Barrels began with a desire to fix the problems we were constantly experiencing with our old rain barrles; leaky spigots, no overflow system, and open to the elements and insects. The result is a high quality affordable rain barrel.

Its rain barrel season!

As the season winds down and we finish one last big delivery would like to take a minute and say thank you to everyone that has supported local this past year. As we've joined all of you in pivoting, struggling, worrying, succeeding and seeing how to work with what each day brings we are so grateful for the community we find ourselves surrounded by, both near and far.

Al Renzi brought our "small farm with big ideas" to the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Riparian Buffer Summit in State College, PA this week. We are looking forward to the planting season, and helping landowners manage erosion and runoff with native plants.

Got the best note from a customer this morning. Thanks for making our Monday awesome!
"Just letting you know that I bought one of your first models, and it's still going strong! You were at the West Chester Growers' Market one day about 7 years ago, and I bought one and you drove it to my house (thanks)! Glad to know you are still going strong!"

When we started CHRB over 7 years ago our mission was simple create a quality rain barrel at an affordable price. It's why we make each barrel ourselves and continue to look for opportunities to give back and promote water conservation. Happy we were able to donate a barrel to a local school where kids will now learn about water conservation and be part of growing their food. It doesn't hurt the thank you note was one of the cutest things ever.
"Dear the water barrel people, thank you for the barrel now we can recycle water"

There are lots of great reasons to grow your own food, but we’ll stick to our favorites: You know exactly where it comes from. By working the soil organically, you help the environment. And of course, vegetables taste infinitely better when you cultivate them yourself. (Maybe unabashed pride adds ex...
