I recently worked with a college pitcher who had been dealing with chronic forearm pain and tightness for months, struggling to throw effectively and watching his performance slip away. Everyday stressors such as sitting at a computer, lifting incorrectly, sleeping inconsistently, or exercising improperly may cause small muscle imbalances throughout the body which eventually lead to pain and dysfunction. More acute incidents such as sports injuries, car accidents, and falls can impact the body more severely. These imbalances can cause a variety of health issues: compromise of the nervous system, impairment of the muscles, soft tissue damage, and accelerated degeneration to name a few. Our goal is to treat these issues with a variety of massage modalities that can help eliminate pain and discomfort and restore the bodies proper balance.
