We write to share the unfortunate news that the Getz's Steam Calliope, that each year the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home & Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Homes sponsors in memory of Kurt & Tammy Klotzbach, will not be in attendance in today's Dogwood Parade. The Kauffman family has been working tirelessly for the past 72 hours to trace and diagnose an electrical issue that ultimately sidelined them. We appreciate their diligent effort in doing all that was possible to attempt to appear today, and we look forward to welcoming them next year!

We take great pride in our continued sponsorship of the calliope, which we knew brought great joy to Kurt when he started this relationship when he was a member of the Phoenixville Jaycees and we were young children. Although it will be missed by our community this year, we wish the Kauffman family well and hope to see the continued joy next year back in Phoenixville.

Klotzbach Funeral Homes had the pleasure of attending two different events this past weekend. On Friday, several of us supported the Phoenixville Fire Department at their Annual Golf Outing where a great time was had by all. Then, on Saturday, following a brief downpour, it turned into a lovely day at Royersford Community Day hosted by the Royersford Business Association. We had wonderful time talking and mingling with many of our neighbors while handing out plenty of goodies!

The Klotzbach Funeral Homes family spent this past Saturday attending Limerick Community Day presented by Limerick Township Parks and Recreation and the Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce. We had a great time seeing so many friends and neighbors and answering many questions, all while the littlest Klotzbach girls enjoyed handing out frisbees and mini-footballs! Next up is Royersford Community Day!

Less than one in a million. That is the number of people diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma (EHE). Kylar Kelly was extraordinary, and was one of those people. In May 2025, Kylar tragically lost the battle with EHE. Klotzbach Funeral Homes was honored to care for Kylar, and thank Taz and Terry for entrusting us to serve Kylar and their entire family. Now, NBC10 is shining the spotlight on Kylar and EHE Watch Kylar's story here, and learn how they hope to draw attention to this one in a million form of cancer.

What an exhilarating week it has been for the team at Klotzbach Funeral Homes!

- Monday: funeral director Andy Klotzbach represented the Phoenixville Fire Department as he displayed a fire truck at a back-to-school event at the Phoenixville High School.
- Tuesday: looking forward to this night since last year, the entire funeral home crew handed out almost 1,000 free hot dogs to the community at Royersford National Night Out.
- Wednesday: the funeral home sponsored the evening of racing at Phoenixville's MCQMRC, where Morgan Klotzbach, daughter of funeral director Josh Klotzbach and his wife, our office administrator April, races each week. It is also where Blake Klotzbach, daughter of Andy & Tara, got to celebrate her 3rd Birthday with family, friends, and cake!
- Thursday: at Phoenixville's First Responder Appreciation Night at the Rec Center, Andy Klotzbach once again displayed multiple fire trucks in a touch-a-truck event, standing beside our partners with the Phoenixville Police Department and TowerDirect EMS, as well as several other local participating agencies!

We hope we had a chance to see you over the past few days, but if not, keep an eye for Klotzbach Funeral Homes at Limerick Community Day on August 16th from 12pm-3pm at Limerick Community Park, or at Royersford Community Day on September 6th on Main Street from 10am-3pm. We won't have another 1000 hot dogs at those events, but we have plenty of other goodies to hand out then! We hope to see you then!
