usually passes without much fanfare. Today ended up being a day where I really felt the weight of what I do. I celebrated joys of motherhood and grieved loss. Cried with women who finally felt heard. Laughed with others because I said the thing they were thinking, but wouldn’t say out loud. Bridged the gap between problem and solution. Held hands. Hugged. Head tilted and side eyed even 🥴 ( ). How did this happen?

Looking at that newborn face, you don’t understand when someone says the days are long, but the years are short. Looking back, you know exactly what that means.

Time jut seems to fly when you’re watching an amazing little person grow into an even more amazing woman.
