Climbing stairs helps kids build leg strength, balance, coordination, and confidence—one step at a time toward healthy development!✨

When should your child me climbing stairs?
• ~18 months–2 years: Walks up stairs with both feet on a step and using handrail or hand support.
• ~2 years: Walks up stairs without hand support with both feet on the step and you could start seeing an attempt at reciprocal pattern with help.
• ~3 years: Walks up stairs reciprocally without support; walks down with both feet on the step.
• ~3.5–4 years: Walks down stairs reciprocally without support.
