Good morning family. Today I wanted to talk about meditation.
Meditation comes in all sorts of flavors and styles. Transcendental meditation, Zen, Buddhist, Taoist, Yogic, ritualistic. The list goes on and on. So, what is meditation specifically and why is it important to practice it.
Meditation is a tool that allows a person to explore their inner-self. It is a way to gently release life's baggage, heal, and grow. Meditation is the single most important activity in the souls evolution.
With meditation a person can make peace with their past, heal old wounds, reflect on personal mistakes, and work out the deepest questions of life. However, there is also a caution. Meditation isn't for everyone.
Meditation should only be engaged by someone who is willing and able to take full responsibility for their thoughts, words, and deeds. All of them, at least in a private manor.
If you can't do that then meditation will actually harm you. If you can't take full responsibility for every aspect of your life then I recommend you seek counseling. There is no shame in this. Sometimes counseling can give us a new perspective on life and help us create a foundation from which we can operate.
