Congratulations to Picayune Memorial High School who were selected to play in the Bernard Blackwell North/South All star game Dec. 9 in Gulfport and MS/AL All Star game Dec. 16 at USM. North/South players are Niquis Ratcliff and Jabara McWilliams. Coach Cody Stogner will be an assistant coach. MS/AL players are Amarion Tyson, Jamonta Waller and Chris Davis. SBJ physician Dr. Chris Penton is the official sports medicine provider for the Picayune Maroon Tide.

SBJ Rehabilitation announces director

Southern Bone and Joint Specialists Rehabilitation has named Will Prosser as its director.
Prosser is a board certified Doctor of Physical Therapy. He will oversee the physical therapy department by offering services, creating strategic goals and acting as a liaison between other medical departments. He previously worked at Columbus Orthopedic.
Prosser has specialized training and certification in the McKenzie Method, trigger point dry needling, Graston soft tissue mobilization, ATRI Aquatic, functional capacity examination, impairment rating. He is an APTA certified clinical instructor. He is also trained in blood flow restriction.
Prosser received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Mississippi State University where he was a four-year letterman as wide receiver. He received his doctor of physical therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Southern Bone and Joint Specialists Rehabilitation has clinics in Hattiesburg and Picayune.
