Way to go, Ryleigh!
Ryleigh gained valuable hands-on experience during her 8 week clinical fieldwork that focused on the assessment and treatment of upper extremity conditions, especially with shoulder rehabilitation. She assisted in planning treatments and carrying out interventions for a wide variety of diagnoses. In addition to her outpatient experience, she was also introduced to OT treatment in both acute care and swingbed settings, which allowed her to broaden her understanding of patient care across different stages of recovery.
We wish you the best of luck as you finish your journey in becoming an OTA!

Michael Cunningham has been thriving in his physical therapy fieldwork for the past 15 weeks at our clinic. He strengthened his skill set while gaining experience with various physical conditions. He also enhanced his clinical judgment in various therapy settings. It was an honor to help you along your PT journey! We will miss you! Good luck on your next rotation!
