πΊπΈ A Day of Remembrance and Prayers πΊπΈ
Our residents, staff and community friends came together in honor of those we will never forget β the lives lost and forever changed on September 11, 2001. It was a moving day filled with unity, reflection, and heartfelt tributes.
We began with a solemn candlelight ceremony, followed by a touching prayer led by our Administrator, Jason Kelly, who lifted up the families of the victims in prayer. As our residents stood together to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, a beautiful poem was read by our Social Services Director, Angie Moral Lastise, reminding us of the resilience and strength of our nation.
The spirit of remembrance continued as Kari Spencer gave a powerful rendition of Amazing Grace, filling everyone with emotion.
We were honored to have Mayor Jim Luke and Chaplain James join us and share encouraging and inspiring words with our community.
To close the ceremony, we released balloons into the sky β a symbol of hope, love, and remembrance.
Though years have passed, we will never forget. πΊπΈπ
