At our staff holiday celebration, we paid tribute to two long-standing board members who will be concluding their service at the end of this year.

Douglas Clamp has served on the BHSPC Board of Directors for 30 years. Mary Babb has served on the Board for 26 years.

Their outstanding dedication to the agency is a testament to their character, and their contributions will be sorely missed. We extend our gratitude to them for all that they’ve done for Behavioral Health Services of Pickens County!

Tinsel B. Health the BHS Elf is reminding you that the holidays come with stress, pressure, and lots of opportunities to get “wrapped up” in things that aren’t good for us.

Tinsel’s message this week: Make choices that support your goals, not ones that set you back!

Whether you bleed orange or garnet, one thing unites us this Rivalry Weekend: keeping everyone safe.

If you’re under 21, skip the alcohol — it’s not worth the risk.
If you’re celebrating, plan ahead with a sober driver or use a rideshare.

A safe community is a win for everyone, no matter the scoreboard.

November is Men’s Mental Health Month.
Across our community, too many men feel pressure to “tough it out,” stay quiet, or push through pain alone. But mental health is health — and seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

At BHSPC, we’re committed to making sure men of all ages have access to the help, resources, and support they deserve. Whether it’s managing stress, anxiety, substance use, or simply needing someone to talk to, you’re not alone.

🧠 Check in on the men in your life.
💬 Start real conversations.
📞 And remember, if you or someone you know is struggling, 988 is always there.

Let’s break the stigma—together.
