Our Vice President of Culinary, Chef Kevin Penn, CEC, CCA, was recently honored as the American Culinary Federation Central Regional winner for the 2025 Dr. L.J. Minor Chef Professionalism Award.

This award honors chefs who exemplify professionalism, and Chef Kevin is more than deserving. His leadership has elevated dining across 150+ StoryPoint Group communities, turning meals into experiences and dining rooms into gathering spaces. We couldn’t be prouder. Way to go, Chef Kevin!

🐴🤠 Robert’s dream took the reins at StoryPoint Birmingham with a ride back in the saddle. What made the moment even more powerful was the surprise of his daughter arriving from Chicago to ride beside him. StoryPoint was honored to help bring their bond back to the trail. 🐎❤️✨

🔈😀 For the beginning of our week here at StoryPoint Pickerington, we welcomed former Lancaster, Ohio oldies radio station owner/ current DJ, Johnny Garber, who spoke at our community today! 🔈😀

🎼🎸 Johnny dove deep into conversation about his career with our staff and residents. Everyone was astonished to discover that he also booked The Jimi Hendrix Experience at Veterans Memorial in 1968, in addition to The Byrds at Tiki Pool in Lancaster. 🎼🎸

Speaking of, residents hopped on the Sharon Woods Metro Park tram today for a guided tour with a Ranger and Naturalist.

We had so much fun, and we left with a plethora of information!

🩷🚴‍♀️💚 This past Saturday, residents were taken to the finish line to cheer for Pelotonia riders in New Albany, Ohio.

Storypoint's Executive Director, Ryan, rode a 50 mile bike ride starting from Downtown Columbus. This is Ryan's 3rd year participating in Pelotonia, which is a fundraiser for cancer research locally at The James. 🩷🚴‍♀️💚

Every dollar benefits cancer research.

We are so proud of Ryan, and seeing her cross the finish line brought cheers and applause from all residents and staff!
