One of my favorite tools to pair with acupuncture.

�Doctor of Classical Chinese Medicine, licensed acupuncturist, and the only licensed herbalist in Athens and Pickerington.

Chenpi ends up in so many of my patients’ formulations. It is the perfect herb for so many modern patterns of illness. In Chinese medicine terms, we use it for conditions where there is dampness, stagnation, and phlegm/mucus. In western terms, it is especially useful for cortisol regulation, visceral fat accumulation, and slow metabolism.

The monarchs this year have been really showing up on the farm!

Here is something I didn't expect to see on the farm. A fawn showed up and played with our dog for a long while. They chased each other and even laid down together. It made me think long and hard about these times. How a little compassion and love (for someone that "on paper", you should snarl at) feels so miraculous right now. Thank you, sweet Delia. I am sorry that the mail lady is so afraid of you!
