I read recently that Finland is ranked the happiest country in the world.
Not because people are constantly happy…
but because there are fewer people really struggling.
There’s more support built into everyday life.
More stability. More safety.
⸻
And it got me thinking about how different that feels from what we experience here…
Especially in fitness.
A lot of what we’ve been taught is rooted in pressure.
Push harder.
Be more disciplined.
Stay consistent no matter what.
And if you can’t… it starts to feel like a personal failure.
⸻
But the more I sit with this, the more I don’t think that’s how we were designed to live.
Not constantly pushing.
Not constantly overriding.
Not constantly striving to prove something.
⸻
I see so many women who are:
strong
capable
deeply committed
…and also carrying a lot.
And then we place them in environments that ask even more of them.
⸻
But when the body feels supported… it responds differently.
There’s more ease.
More consistency.
More willingness to stay.
⸻
That’s the shift I’m leaning into with Salt.
Creating a space that feels:
steady
grounded
supportive
Where you don’t have to fight your body to see change.
⸻
You don’t need more pressure.
You need an environment that allows your body to respond the way it was created to.
⸻
There’s something about that that just feels… right
