🌊 🛳️ Our culinary team served up an amazing assortment of meals throughout our Captain's Ball Theme Week, and we could not be disappointed! Starting with breakfast, we have bacon and crab Frittata with home-style potatoes and fresh fruit. Lunch was just as wonderful, Caribbean chicken with pineapple salsa and apple cranberry salad. For the featured main course on our dinner menu, we had surf and turf, grilled asparagus, loaded baked potato, clam chowder, homemade dinner rolls, and an assortment of desserts! ⚓ 🏝️

✈️ For as long as he can remember, Paul has always wanted to fly an airplane. Growing up in a small town on a farm, Paul would look up to the sky and watch the planes as they would fly above. His curiosity became an interest when he started to research about aircrafts, which would later lead to a dream. Our campus was able to partner with Live A Dream to make his dream a reality. First adventure was the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force where he was able to name the types of planes, their parts, and even what era most were from! Our next adventure was with a pilot and flight instructor, Rob Andino in Columbus, OH where Paul, as well as the rest of our Legacy , were able to experience a flight class and simulator! We want to thank all involved to make Paul's wishes come true 💜 ✈️

Here at Violet Springs, we are always grateful for the fond memories, smiles, and laughter that many of our residents have given us before they are gone. In addition, we always view our residents families as an extention of our own. One of our families came to our campus to show the love and appreciation to our staff when it came to the care of their loved one. We want to thank Charolette's family for coming to visit us and giving our staff a wonderful lunch. We miss you all very much and will continue to honor her memory 💗
