💭 My thoughts on coaching?
You don’t need “perfect” you need real. Human. Relatable.
✨ I’ve faced my own battles—ones that tested my mental strength that I didn’t choose, and physical ones I signed up for, just to feel something and to prove that I can count on ME.
⛰️ But nothing tested both my mental & physical strength at the same time like the Vermont Spartan Beast: 21K run, 30 obstacles, 6 damn trips up that mountain—brutal, humbling.
🥵 Forever grateful that at my lowest point, ready to quit, a spectator tossed me Sour Patch Kids (the one candy I can’t stand). When I opened the bag and saw they were 🍉—my girls’ favorite, that was it. Quitting was off the table. I couldn’t go home and tell them that I chose to not finish.
🚶♀️ I finished those last miles literally walking backwards because I was cramping & my legs kept giving out. It wasn’t until I crossed the finish line that I understood my “why.” Some of the hardest, most humbling experiences are the ones that reshape you forever. They’re the ones that teach you what you’re really capable of.
I now have this belief to share with my clients as they work through their health journeys: Humbled by the challenge…forever stronger by the finish.
💚 Life is short. I believe that “you only live once”. Make it count! Chase your full potential. And if you need help navigating your own tough seasons—I’ve been there. I gotchu!
