For Maeve and Klara's family, their care journey has been anything but easy. In their short lives, they've been diagnosed with Moyamoya disease, a condition that caused them to have multiple strokes before the age of one. They have undergone indirect bypass surgeries on both sides of their brains and spent months in the hospital.
"Every day brings new challenges as they work through therapies and fight to meet milestones many take for granted," said their mom. "Through it all, our incredible nurse, Monet, has become part of our family."
Since they joined Aveanna, Nurse Monet has met their family with unmatched dedication and support. She helps with therapies, feeding, bay time, and medications, while also providing Maeve and Klara's family with the peace of mind that their precious daughters are safe at home. By keeping them healthy and surrounded by their loving parents and triplet sibling, Monet offers comfort, kindness, and expertise when they need it most.
"Monet's honesty, transparency, and incredible work ethic shine through every day, and she somehow manages to keep us laughing even through the hardest moments," Maeve and Klara's mom said.
