Flu season across southeast Missouri is proving to be especially active, making prevention and early care more important than ever.

You can help protect yourself and reduce the spread of germs by taking these simple steps:
• Wash your hands often with soap and water
• Avoid close contact with others if you feel sick
• Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces
• Stay home when you are ill
• Get your flu vaccine if you have not already

If you begin to feel sick, contact your primary care provider or find your nearest Saint Francis Clinic: https://bit.ly/46IrLnL
