Join us at Foundation Fitness for a special Self-Defense Class on Saturday November 1st from 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM!

We’re excited to have fellow gym member Tzviel β€œBK” Blankchtein leading the session. BK brings years of experience and a passion for empowering others through practical, effective self-defense techniques.

This class is open to all gym members and general public as well(male and female), and you can register through your Foundation Fitness app to reserve your spot if you are a gym member.

Our FF Member of the Month is Kayla! She has worked so hard and is always one of the hardest workers in the room!

Hi, my name is Kayla Bryan, and I'm a first-time mom and a stay-at-home mom to my little 1-year-old. When I was very little, I used to play ice hockey for a few years and absolutely loved it.
Being on the rink was my favorite thing to do, but unfortunately I had to quit. And so began the long struggle with my weight and staying active for years to come. Still, growing up, I continued to have goals of losing weight and being strong and athletic. And so, in 2022, I joined Foundation Fitness; however, I never truly stuck to being consistent. Then, last year when I had my baby, I fell into some deep postpartum anxiety and depression.
During pregnancy, I had unfortunately found myself the heaviest I had ever been on a scale. I knew i had a long journey ahead of me to get healthy again.
It wasn't until the beginning of July this year that I started to truly be consistent in the gym and change my eating habits. And from that alone I began to notice a change. And so, with that being said, with the strength of my Lord Jesus, my husband right there by my side supporting me, and the gym community cheering me on, I managed to lose 20 pounds in a month and a half and all the while pulling myself out of the slump I was in.
My goals are to continue to lose weight while building and maintaining muscle mass and being healthy and strong for my family and myself. I want to be a healthy example spiritually, emotionally, and physically for my son and stepson at home.
I still have a long way to go, but with my mindset shifted, the lifestyle change I've made, and my family and gym family rooting me on, I know I'll go far.
