Be patient, remember that a garden needs time to grow and evolve over the years, plants need time to grow where they are and overtime they shine and get better, sometimes we want the end result immediately and forget that some of the pictures of gardens we see have been in the making for years, it has taken us about 8 years to get here and we are still working on it, we add and change to make things better and we have had many times where things just don’t work and we have to start over, plant a garden and watch it grow is the best thing for the soul 💕

Happy, happy birthday to this wild babe!! 🎉
I decided to go vegan in May 2015 after seeing the documentary for me it was about the animals,our health, but mostly because of our planet 🌎
I was 100% plant-based when I found I was pregnant with him and had been for a couple of years, I had the easiest pregnancy and was able to have a fast recovery.
This boy has been mainly on a vegetarian diet (striving on staying as vegan as possible) and so far he has been a very healthy boy 🌱
You CAN get pregnant on a vegan diet, you CAN have a healthy pregnancy on a vegan diet, and you CAN have perfectly healthy kids on a Vegan diet! 🌱
For me, it is about teaching the next generation the importance of taking care of our planet, having compassion for all living things and being as healthy as possible!

When we feel overwhelmed and are having a bad day we go outside and play!

Today was a rough day, this little babe has been sick for a few days, we haven’t had much sleep and being 33 weeks pregnant is just hard! So when the melt downs started this morning and I felt like I was going to scream, I decided to just step outside and play!

It is incredible to see how a little bit of sunlight and fresh air can change the mood on any situation and help us get a new perspective on things! 🙌🏻
One of my goals this year is to be outdoors as much as possible and enjoy nature a little bit more, even if is just in our own back yard 🍃

Currently making my grocery list trying to figure out everything I need to make this delicious Golden Lentil Soup this coming week!

The recipe is from the “oh she glows” cookbook which I use every week! Can’t recommend it enough!

Making sure you fill your fridge and pantry with whole plant based foods for the week will help you create yummy and healthy recipes every day, don’t obsess over all the ingredients you need, just keep it simple and use what you have!

What are you grateful for today?
Today I’m so thankful for the gift of being a mom to my 2 amazing boys and our little baby girl that will be with us in February! 💕
After having a very difficult end of 2018, I’m so happy for all the blessings and happiness that 2019 brought us!
Sometimes you have to go through some dark times to appreciate all the good! ❤️
I wish everyone a fantastic thanksgiving holiday filled with love and laughter! Remember the best things in life are usually free and it costs us nothing to enjoy them!
