If you are a behavioral health clinician or support worker, clinical support staff, or trained in substance use disorders, you can apply to the Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program (STAR LRP) and receive up to $250,000 in loan repayment. In exchange, you must work full-time for six years in a STAR LRP-approved facility.

We visited with 170 high school students about dental careers at a Scrubs Camp in Rapid City, featuring hands-on experiences for kids to explore different health careers.

Education, salary, and work activities are common questions, but it's the "gross" pictures of poor oral health that get them engaged and talking about how choices like soda, to***co, and oral piercings can affect their oral health and how those in the dental workforce can make a difference.
