“I’m a pure local.”

Born and raised right here in Pierre, Diann has lived a life rooted in community. She worked at St. Mary’s Hospital and the Chateau Lounge, roller-skated her way through the years, and loves to talk about her travel days when she was younger. She’s lived the true “capital city with a small-town heart” life and now she brings all that hometown charm right into our halls at Edgewood Pierre.

“I love everything here and the staff.” During activities, you’ll find her living her best life during ‘drum fit’ or ‘axe throwing’, but it’s about the stories we hear during the activities. Her Irish heritage and lifelong local ties give her stories that remind us how cool it is to grow up and stay in Pierre, everything from neighborhood histories to the best hidden gems.

Edgewood is made up of neighbors like Diann. People who carry memories of growing up in Pierre, who have stories worth sharing, and who make our community vibrant. We are Edgewood.
