75-85% of Americans will experience some sort of back pain in their lifetime (AANS, 2024).
Acupuncture is now a standard part of rehabilitation for low back injuries. Treatments focus on the root cause of the issue, not just the presenting symptoms. Acupuncture encourages your body to release its own painkillers (endorphins) and dramatically decreases recovery time.
Most patients experience immediate pain relief, a decrease in inflammation, and better range of motion.

In TCM, the shift from summer to fall is more than a change of weather. Itโ€™s a change of energy.

โ˜€๏ธ Summer is expansive, joyful, outward.
๐Ÿ‚ Fall calls us inward: reflection, routine, and letting go.

Hereโ€™s how to support your body + mind in this seasonal shift:
๐Ÿฅ• Nourish digestion with grounding foods
๐Ÿ’จ Protect the lungs from dryness
๐Ÿ—‘ Make space to release what no longer serves you
๐ŸŒ™ Settle into earlier nights and calmer routines

Feeling bloated, tired after meals, or craving sweets? ๐Ÿ‘€
In TCM, late summer is the season of the Spleen: your bodyโ€™s โ€˜kitchenโ€™ that turns food into energy (Qi). When Qi is low, digestion struggles.

๐Ÿ Eat warm, cooked meals
๐Ÿฅ— Skip iced drinks & too many raw salads - these take longer and require more energy to digest
๐Ÿฒ Think soups, stews, roasted veggies

Keep your Spleen happy, and youโ€™ll glide into fall feeling grounded + energized.

Yep, you read that right!

Breech babies can safely turn on their own with the use of acupuncture + moxibustion treatments.

We start with moxa on acu-point UB67 (Urinary bladder channel). It is located on the outer-lower corner of the little toe nail. This should be done on each foot for 15-20 minutes/day for 7-10 days.
We follow up the treatment with acupuncture points that support the individual woman.

When done between 34 and 36 weeks gestation, this treatment has a 60-80% success rate.
