Make bone broth with me 🍖
I soaked a smoked ham bone first to get rid of some of the salt. Then brought it to a boil with my herbs (Da Zao + Huang Qi) and aromatics: carrots, onion, celery, peppercorn, bay leaf, black sesame seeds, ginger, and garlic.
A splash of vinegar helps extract the vitamins + minerals from the bone.
Simmer for 8-12 hours on the stovetop 🔥
