Somedays in the field are better than others. Mother nature likes to throw curve balls occasionally especially in the spring. But just have to take it in stride and do what you can. Might've gotten hailed on 3 times today but still got the job done for the families because that's what matters.

We were able to get out last week and start setting some stones with the early spring weather. One of the stones we set was this beautiful unique green colored granite stone that you very rarely see. It looks amazing in person.

The options are endless when it comes to designs and there are some unique colors of stone we can do to make your loved ones memorial stand out even more.

This week mother nature has shown us that winter wasn't quite over yet so will be getting back to taking care of our families next week when the weather improves

There is lots of options to make a headstone stand out from the rest. A lot of custom things that can be done to the headstone whether its to the design or the actual stone itself to make it stand out.

This stone we had the honor of doing last year had a shell rock border added to the stone. The shell rock pitching adds depth to the stone and gives it a uniqueness that stands out from a modern traditional memorial. It gives it a more classic feel. It can be done to any granite headstone to set it apart from the rest.

The season is winding down due to weather but we got to blast a boulder for a local farm earlier this week. This massive 7 foot boulder came out amazing. The depth on the letters and how the fine details came out in the wheat really make it stand out. Its not easy to get the blasting to come out perfect on rough boulders but with some time, patience and skill the results speak for themselves.

Its been pretty warm the last few days, but still out taking care of families and customers. Starting before the suns up and trying to finish before the heat of the day. Its been a busy summer so far and we are grateful for all of the families that have entrusted us to take care of them.

I can say I am lucky to be able to work for Randy and be a part of the awesome company he has built. He has helped countless families and community members whether it is through a stone for a loved one or various other ways. You will never meet a more friendly and caring person for sure.

Last sunset of the "busy season". Time for me and the truck to take a short breather and get ready for the rest of the year. A lot of long days the last few weeks but it's worth it. Still lots of families to take care of this year. Hope everyone has a good memorial day weekend.

The sun won last night.Ended up having to finish the last stone of the day in the dark but still got it done for the family. Made it back home by midnight. It's the extra mile that needs to be done for the families in certain situations that we do.

Last Friday was the first of many sunsets I get to enjoy while being out in the cemeteries during the season. Always some scenic views to enjoy while out setting and taking care of our families.

First day out setting stones and it was a long one to start the season. Many more to come this spring, but when you enjoy what you do and get to help families the work and long hours don't seem that bad.
