Call it a millennial crisis…
but it feels more like clarity.

Clarity that the life I was chasing
was built on someone else’s definition of success.

Because the truth is—
I don’t care about the title.
I don’t care about the promotion.

I care about time.
I care about peace.
I care about waking up without rushing through my life.

I still want to make money…
I just refuse to trade my life for it anymore.

We took a pottery class on a random Tuesday.

Not because we’re on vacation…
but because this is our life now.

It wasn’t always like this.

We didn’t always have the time or money to do things like this.

That changed when we stopped settling
and started building something of our own.

Now we prioritize experiences that actually make us feel alive.

Because what’s the point of working… if you don’t have time to live?

What if it does work out?
What if the risk pays off?

This is exactly what we’ve been building.

Today we spent the day in Cades Cove…
had a picnic…
took in the views of the Smoky Mountains…

And yes — we still got work done.

A little before we left.
A little when we got back.

But that’s the difference.
We’re no longer working 8–12 hour days just waiting for time off.

We built something that allows us to live first… and work around it.

And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We built a business that fits between adventures.

Because we didn’t want a life where work came first and everything else had to wait.

We didn’t need another job…
we needed a different model.

I don’t know who came up with these… but they’re GENIUS.

Apparently in other countries, they have these things called motor movers that literally let you move your RV/trailer with a remote 😳

Like… no backing stress, no yelling, no “babe turn it the other way!!” moments 😂

They attach underneath and basically let you guide your rig into place with precision — even in tight spots or tricky terrain

Honestly… we would 100% use one.

Especially after some of the spots we’ve had to get into 😅

I used to think pregnancy meant slowing everything down…

But out here?
It’s actually shown me what real freedom looks like.

No rigid schedule.
No stress about asking for time off.
No choosing between building a life… and living it.

Just waking up wherever we want,
moving at our own pace,
and building income in a way that supports this season of life.

And the truth is…
we didn’t just get “lucky.”

We made a decision to stop following the path that didn’t feel right
and build something different.

Something that could grow with us — not against us.

We didn’t quit our life to travel…
we built a life that lets us travel.

Most people think RV living is about saving money…

But for us?
It’s about buying back our time.

No alarm clocks.
No rushing to work.
No asking someone else when we can live.

Just us, our RV, our dogs…

We had to unlearn everything we thought “work” was supposed to look like and take a different path than most people are willing to take.

Now our office looks like:
mountains, beaches, waterfalls… and a laptop.

What this month taught us about freedom.

It’s not just the travel.

It’s waking up in our RV with no alarm…
working from wherever we feel inspired that day…
taking our dogs to waterfalls in the middle of the week…
and building a life that actually supports the season we’re in.

Even preparing for a baby on the road has shown us how important it is to have flexibility and control over our time.

Because freedom isn’t just about where you are…

It’s about how you live.

This month reminded us that everything we wanted — more time, more presence, more connection — came from choosing a different path and building something that allows us to live this way.

And we’re just getting started.
