🌩️🎬 Storm prep… Piggott style!

Resident Movie Time today — because if we have to keep everyone up and ready in case the weather acts up, we might as well make it fun.

We’ve got movies playing, popcorn flowing, cupcakes disappearing, sodas fizzing… and a few strategic chair naps happening in between scenes. 😴🍿🧁

Safety first, but we’re doing it with smiles, snacks, and a little entertainment. Our residents are weather-ready and movie-marathon approved!

The countdown is on… LESS THAN ONE WEEK until two of our sweet residents say “I do!” ❤️

Our whole building is buzzing with excitement as we get ready to celebrate their love story. In a place where we witness so many seasons of life, it’s something truly special to see a couple preparing to start this new chapter together!

Our amazing community has already started helping make their big day beautiful, and we are so grateful! We are still accepting a few donations to help make their wedding day extra special:

- White tulle
- Flower girl basket
- LED Candles
- Disposable plates, napkins & cups

For their “honeymoon dinner” together after the ceremony, the happy couple has made a sweet request:

There is so much happening right now at Piggott Healthcare & Senior Living, and it truly feels like a season of love, growth, and new beginnings.
💍 Wedding Bells Are Ringing!
Our two lovebirds are counting down to their mid-March wedding day, and the excitement is contagious. Staff, residents, and families are all invested in this beautiful love story that reminds us it’s never too late for forever.
We are still accepting donations to help make their day extra special! We are currently in need of:
• A wedding arch
• Women’s size 10 white shoes (no heels please 🤍)
• White tulle and simple décor
• Honeymoon-at-home goodies (cozy baskets, gift cards, snacks, room décor)
This community has already shown up in big ways — and we can’t wait to celebrate together.
🏗️ A Fresh New Look Is Coming!
PHSL is also getting a facelift! This is a big project that requires carefully moving residents room by room, shifting furniture, coordinating schedules, and making sure comfort and safety remain our top priority.
It’s a long process, but we are excited for the fresh updates that will make our home even brighter and more welcoming. Change can be messy — but progress is beautiful.
🎨 March = Arts & Crafts Month!
As if wedding planning and renovations weren’t enough… March is officially Arts & Crafts Month!
Be on the lookout for:

Our very own Director of Nursing is preparing to welcome a bundle of joy into the world! We are so excited for her growing family and grateful for the heart she pours into our residents every single day. This season truly feels full of love in every direction.

We are beyond excited and honored to share that two of our residents will soon be getting married!! Their story is a reminder that it is never too late for love, companionship, and new beginnings.

We are reaching out to our wonderful community to help make their wedding day as special as they deserve.

❤️ Love Filled the Halls at Piggott Healthcare & Senior Living ❤️
Our residents enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Day celebration filled with laughter, friendship, and heartfelt moments. The day was spent exchanging Valentine’s cards, sharing sweet treats, and celebrating the love and connections that make our community so special.
Seeing our residents smile as they exchanged Valentine’s and spent time together was a beautiful reminder that love lives here every day. These moments of kindness and companionship are what make Piggott Healthcare & Senior Living feel like family.

❄️ Through The Storm Award ❄️

We give credit where credit is due!

Starting out with a huge THANK YOU to our Maintenance Director, Jeremy Witcher, who not only has driven over 500 miles in the snow and ice, from Kennett to Paragould, since Saturday picking up and dropping off staff to ensure their safety and the continuous care of our beloved residents but also remained in the facility all weekend through the storm to ensure he was readily available for quick response and repair should the facility sustain power or heat loss (luckily we did not!)

Your dependability ensured stability, safety, and peace of mind for the residents entrusted to our care. Thank you for your commitment, professionalism, and willingness to do what was needed—without exception—when it mattered most.
