Lincoln the Long Term Turkey aka the Administrator was spotted once again sneaking around our home…

This bird didn’t make it very far before being captured, plucked, and sentenced to immediate Thanksgiving festivities.

Our residents proved once again that they rule this roost!

*No turkeys or administrators were harmed in the making of these memories*

Today our building was filled with laughter, full plates, warm hugs, and the joy of being together. There is nothing sweeter than seeing our residents surrounded by the people they love—sharing stories, smiles, and special moments.

To all the families who joined us today: thank you for filling our home with so much love. Your presence means more to our residents than words can ever express.

We are grateful for the trust you place in us, the memories we get to share with your loved ones, and the incredible sense of community we build together every single day.

May your hearts be as full as our dining room was today. 🧡🍂

Even though your roles have changed, your impact hasn’t.
You still show up with the same kindness, skill, and heart that you brought every single day when you were here full-time.
You still care deeply for our residents.
You still support our team when we need you most.

Your willingness to continue helping — even after moving on to new chapters — speaks volumes about your character and your dedication to long-term care.

We miss you in the halls every day, but we are so grateful each time you walk back through our doors.

Vickie, your gentle spirit and sweet heart touch everyone around you. You care for our residents with such patience and love, and you treat every person as if they were your own family. The way you brighten a room, offer a warm smile, and go above and beyond without ever being asked does not go unnoticed.

Thank you for your steady kindness, your dependable hands, and your compassionate heart. Our residents adore you, our staff appreciates you, and our facility is truly better because you are part of it.

At Piggott Healthcare & Senior Living, every resident deserves to feel the magic of Christmas — and you can help make that happen!

Our Chimney of Care is now up, and each stocking represents one of our sweet residents. If you would like to spread a little holiday joy, simply stop by, choose a stocking, and pick up a wish to fulfill. 🎁✨

Once you choose a stocking, we’ll take your name and info so we can match the gift with the right resident. All gifts must be wrapped and returned by December 15th, with the stocking attached as the gift tag.

These small acts of kindness mean more than you know. Many residents don’t have family nearby, and your generosity may be the only gift they receive this year. 💗

Let’s show our residents just how much this community cares.

Today I want to give a special shout-out to Nurse Mom Jennifer and her incredible CNA daughters, Amber and Brittany.

This family pours so much love, compassion, and hard work into caring for others every single day - and night. Jennifer leads with a caring heart and amazing skill, and Amber and Brittany follow right in her footsteps with the same dedication and kindness.

We are so blessed to have all three of you on our team. Thank you for everything you do — the long hours, the patience, the smiles, and the genuine love you give to our residents.
