We’re in the midst of severe weather season, and severe weather is how we got our start. 100 years ago (1925), a group of farmers organized to provide lightning insurance for their neighbors and fellow farmers. That organization evolved to become COUNTRY Financial. It’s our home insurance that provides lightning protection today.

Quick tips to keep your home severe weather-ready:
✅ Check your roof regularly for damage, looking for missing shingles, holes or any wear n’ tear that could lead to leaks.
✅ Do you have a basement? Check that your sump pump is working and has a battery backup.
✅ Trim your trees. Falling limbs can do serious damage to your roof, siding or gutters.
