Honored. Inspired. Committed. 🖤
This Black Maternal Health Week, I had the privilege of serving as a panelist at the Before the Bump reproductive health conference.

Being in a room filled with passionate providers and powerful Black maternal health advocates was both energizing and deeply meaningful. 💛

Thank you to for sponsoring such an important space for education, connection, and impact.

One thing that stood out clearly:
👉🏾 You cannot do this journey alone.
Building your care team matters.

From pelvic floor physical therapy to mental health, OB care, doulas, and beyond each of us brings a unique lens and expertise to support safer, healthier pregnancies and births for Black moms.
At New Woman Physical Therapy & Wellness, we’re proud to be part of that team helping women move freely, heal fully, and thrive through every stage of motherhood.

Let’s keep the conversation going. Let’s keep showing up. 🤎

Comment or 🖤 if you’re a practitioner helping keep black moms healthy and thriving. 🙏

✨ Day ONE in the books at Hoffman & Associates OB-GYN in Catonsville ✨

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.

From fertility support…
To pregnancy strength & preparation…
To postpartum recovery & pelvic floor healing…

We are officially serving women right where they are — inside their OB-GYN’s office. 💛

This is what collaboration in women’s health looks like.

This is what early intervention looks like.
This is what comprehensive maternal care should look like.

So proud of the patients who trusted us on day one.

So excited for what’s ahead.

Throwback Thursday to the vision… and now we’re living it. 🙌

If you’re trying to conceive, pregnant, or postpartum, pelvic floor PT belongs in your care plan.

We’re just getting started.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be a guest panelist at an upcoming Menopause Talk at ReinventU Gym!

We’ll be having a real conversation about what actually happens during perimenopause & menopause and I’ll be speaking about something that doesn’t get talked about enough:
👉 Your pelvic floor.

Hormonal shifts during menopause can impact:
• Bladder control
• Urgency & frequency
• Pelvic pressure or prolapse symptoms
• Pain with intimacy
• Core strength & stability

Now the good news:
These changes are common, but they are NOT something you just have to “live with.”

Pelvic floor physical therapy can help you:
✔️ Improve bladder control
✔️ Reduce pain
✔️ Restore core strength
✔️ Feel confident and strong in your body again
If you’re navigating midlife changes — or know someone who is….please share this invite 💛

I’d love to see you there and answer your questions in person!

She came to us with pelvic pain and infertility and feeling discouraged about her body.

We used targeted fertility enhancement techniques to improve mobility and reduce tension in her pelvic muscles and organs to help restore balance and reduce her pain.

Fertility is multi factorial but pelvic health is an often overlooked piece of the puzzle.

Today…she’s pregnant 🤰
…pregnancy power prep here we come!

If you’re struggling infertility, pelvic pain, painful in*******se, or pelvic tension - know that you are not alone!

Diastasis Recti isn’t all about appearance - it’s about core function.

With guided rehab, this patient improved to a 2-finger gap, which is often a functional level after pregnancy when strength and control are restored.

If you’re unsure about your core - EVEN YEARS AFTER PREGNANCY- getting assessed matters.

Discipline and persistence beat motivation every time 🙌. Excited to share our new clinic space at Hoffman and Associates OB/GYN in Catonsville!

We rehab athletes after injury- why not moms after birth?

Up to 85% of vaginal deliveries involve perineal trauma, yet postpartum rehab is often overlooked.

It’s time to ring the alarm!‼️

We’re having real, honest conversations about healing after birth at our Post-Birth Body Wellness Class this Saturday.
