Pictures don’t tell the whole truth…
It’s Good Friday I felt then need the whole week to plant today. That’s what we did on Good Friday with our grandparents. The last 24 hours has been a whirl wind. So if I can’t physically plant a seed today let me mentally plant you one.
The first pic last night I was showered eating my Miller’s Bread cheese cake talking to my sweet Leigh Leigh and ogling over her baby. That’s when things took a serious turn. You see I was on cloud 9 from my lips to gods ear a healthy Gray filly. 3 hours or less of sleep last night, calling Courtney in the early morning hours and saying thank god you are awake and I didn’t wake you. I need you, this baby needs you.
Me questioning God and saying why and wondering why he left me and this baby in this mess. We load the truck and trailer up and off we go. It’s a trek to get there almost 3 hours. We get there she starts her magic. Just in case it’s a dummy foal she does the wrap. I text my mom a pic and said get everyone praying. I put my hands on her . Some friends started praying too. This foal relaxed and took a nap with the wrap while getting plasma. We woke her up and she started nursing. Court called papa rabbit and he said to bring them to his house . Off we went. This time I was thanking Jesus for the people who he put in my life. You see court is kinda a miracle worker. She never ceases to amaze me and is my hero. She asked how far to go with the filly, Jim said save it if you can. I have to live with her and a broken heart if she doesn’t make it.
Tonight court text me a pic of her nursing again. We are not out of the woods but my GOD. He truly placed people in my life for just this situation.
Learn to trust him. If this foal doesn’t make it, I know we did everything possible. He put every person taking care of her in my life for this reason or another. Thank you Jesus for that.
Lullaby (as Oliver named her) (nickname lulu) it’s Friday but Sunday is coming 🙏🏽💕 hang on sweet girl 💕
