It's a sad day for EMS across the region. There will never be another Scobey Newman. We can only hope that his positivity and compassion lives on with everyone that looked up to him.
Thank you to his family for sharing him with the world...he made an amazing difference! Our thoughts and prayers are with you! ❤️

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of HCEMS Paramedic Scobey Newman. Scobey lost his long battle with cancer today while surrounded by family.
This news is also devastating to all of us in his EMS,emergency services, and hospital family. It is somewhat comforting to know that Scobey was able to see most of the pictures, comments, stories, and the overwhelming support in general from everyone over the past week.
He will be transported and escorted today by HCEMS and Hamilton County Sheriff's Office - TN.
Full funeral details will be released when finalized.
