Bryson DVM and his wife Jean and began operation in February of 1983. Upon opening Dr. Bryson pledged to the people of the Arcadia Valley that he would "provide a service that will help them with their time of grief and sorrow". He dedicated the building in memory of his parents, Delmar and Minnie Bryson, "who lived and died in this valley which they loved so much". Built on a foundation of trusted service, the tradition continues today with Dr. Bryson's daughter Allison Bryson, as 2nd generation owner and licensed funeral director.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 18th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Ladue Methodist Church. Memorial visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. There will also be visitation on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Salem Ladue Methodist Church.
