Yesterday we welcomed 29 students from North County High School into our facility. Throughout the morning these students met with members of our team and learned about different careers.

This was a great learning and teaching experience for the students and staff. Thank you for choosing to spend your morning here at ICMC! Hopefully some of these young adults will find their way back into our hallways as staff members someday!

This week our Facility Services Director Jim Broombaugh offered staff Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training. The purpose of the program is to build knowledge and skills to recognize, prevent, and manage crisis behaviors using person-centered and trauma-informed responses.

Thanks to Jim’s training ICMC continues its efforts to establish a common philosophy and framework for our organization’s culture of Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security!

Thank you to Jim for putting in the efforts to be a certified trainer with Crisis Prevention Institute and to all the staff who participated in the training!

Thank you to everyone who has donated!

We have collected a little over 400 food items to help local families! Let’s get that number to at least 1000 items!

We are still collecting items and monetary donations. Think of items such as:

• Peanut butter & jelly
• Oatmeal
• Chicken & noodles meal
• Beef stew
• Instant rice

How You Can Help:
– Donate food items
– Contribute funds to help purchase supplies

Let’s act now to care for our neighbors before the need becomes urgent.

Together, we can show what “compassionate care, close to home” truly means.

Donations can be brought to the ICMC Front Lobby, ICMC Rural Health Clinic or monetary donations can be made directly to the local Salvation Army or Food Pantry.
