With decades of experience in long term care and previous service as a Long Term Care Administrator, Edythe brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong voice for resident advocacy. Her kindness and genuine love for people make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and families.

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone and an amazing woman — Edythe 🎉

Edythe is a true OG at Avir Pilot Point and has been such an important part of the team since 2008. Her dedication to serving others goes back even further. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Southeastern and later completed her Master’s degree in 1994, bringing decades of knowledge, compassion, and leadership to the residents and staff she has served.

Throughout her years here, Edythe has made a lasting impact on so many lives. Her experience, wisdom, humor, and genuine care for people have helped shape the culture of our facility. She has been a mentor, advocate, and friend to many of us.

While we will miss her dearly at Avir Pilot Point, we are so excited for her as she begins this new chapter. Edythe, you have more than earned this time to relax, enjoy life, and make beautiful memories in your golden years.

Thank you for everything you have given to our residents, families, and staff. Your legacy here will always be part of our story.

Edythe is truly a joy to be around and brings so much life, laughter, and compassion to our team every single day. With decades of experience in long-term care, she brings an incredible depth of knowledge and understanding to the residents and families we serve.
Edythe previously served as a Long-Term Care Administrator, giving her a unique perspective and an even greater ability to advocate for our residents. Her dedication, wisdom, and genuine love for people make a difference in ways that cannot be measured.

🎉 Employee Spotlight & Birthday Celebration 🎉

Today, we are proud to celebrate and recognize our incredible Assistant Director of Nursing, Jessica!

Jessica has been a valued part of the Avir Pilot Point team since December 2019, and in 2022, she stepped into the role of ADON, where she has continued to lead with dedication, knowledge, and heart. Her experience and expertise have played a vital role in our success, helping guide our team through annual surveys with no SQC (Substandard Quality of Care) — a reflection of her commitment to excellence and quality resident care.

Jessica’s passion for nursing and leadership doesn’t stop there. She is currently continuing her education to complete her RN, demonstrating her commitment to growth and to providing the very best for our residents and team.
We are incredibly grateful to have Jessica as part of the Avir family. Her leadership, positivity, and dedication make a difference every single day.
