Unfortunately, I had some plans change and Healthy Gait is unable to attend the 2026 Romals & Rowels Ranch Horse Show this weekend at NRS. I apologize to all those who typically come see me to get adjusted. Good luck to everyone showing this weekend. I will be back next year! ☺️

As dogs get older, sometimes we start to notice a cognitive decline. It can be easy to brush off as "just a part of aging." There is actually a pattern to look for when identifying cognitive changes aging dogs called 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐀.
-𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
-Changes in 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
-Disrupted 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩-𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬

I’m so excited to officially offer 1 hour myofascial release sessions at Healthy Gait.

This is a deeper, more intentional bodywork session designed to help your body unwind stored tension physically and emotionally.

Fascia is a web-like connective tissue that surrounds everything in your body; muscles, organs, nerves… all of it. When it’s healthy, it is fluid and flexible. But stress, injury, or repetitive patterns can cause it to become tight, restricted, or “adhesed.”

That’s where myofascial work comes in.

During your session:
• We can address full-body or focus on one specific area
• Expect slow, deep, intentional release work
• Your body may release tension, emotions, or both. Please know all of it is welcome.

These sessions can be incredibly transformative, especially if you’ve been feeling stuck, tight, or holding onto stress in your body.

Have you seen the use of kinesio tape on horses? It is one of my favorite things to do! This mare had a swollen and sore hock so I applied tape to the area. Tape helps lift tissue layers which in turn allows fluid to flow out of the area and takes pressure off nerve receptors. It truly works magic.
