🍽️ Meals on Wheels in Arkansas: More Than a Meal! ❤️

Last year, Meals on Wheels Arkansas served 3.3 million meals to seniors in need — helping older adults stay healthy, independent, and connected.

Many seniors face food insecurity due to limited mobility, illness, or living alone. Meals on Wheels delivers not just nutritious food, but a friendly face and daily check-in that make a real difference.

✅ Who Qualifies:

Age 60+ and/or homebound

Unable to prepare meals on your own

All meals meet state nutrition standards and are approved by a registered dietitian.

🚐 Need a Ride? SEAT Can Help!

For many Southeast Arkansas residents who can’t drive, getting to medical appointments, work, or the grocery store can be a challenge. The Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas (AAA Southeast) is a part of Southeast Arkansas Transportation (SEAT) to provide safe, reliable, door-to-door rides for qualified residents of all ages.

✅ Use SEAT to get to:

Doctor visits

Work or shopping

Bill payments

Community resources

📞 Call at least 48 hours in advance to schedule your ride!
Fares are based on distance, and wheelchair-accessible vans are available on request.
