🌟 A huge thank you to Robyn Merkel-Walsh for spending your Sunday with us at NJ Steps! We’re so grateful for the time you took to share your incredible depth of knowledge on oral motor dysfunction and orofacial myofunctional therapy. You left us feeling empowered, invigorated, and ready to implement everything we learned with our clients.

No photos this time because I was too immersed in the moment to take any—but that just shows how engaging and impactful the session was! Thank you, Robyn, for inspiring us and for your generosity in sharing your expertise! 💪💙

🔊 Empowering Early Communication: ⁣

🔊 Self-talk is a game-changer in early intervention Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) therapy sessions! ⁣

🔊 By incorporating self-talk techniques, SLPs provide a nurturing environment for young learners to develop their communication skills from the start.⁣

🔊 Self-talk lays the groundwork for language acquisition in early intervention. Through engaging self-conversations, children learn vocabulary, sentence structure, and expressive language skills. SLPs use self-talk to scaffold communication development, fostering a solid foundation for lifelong language abilities. ⁣
