Message from Dorellys:
lam a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 5
years of experience. I enjoy working with teens, adults
and couples. I have worked with a wide range of
concerns including, anxiety, depression, parenting
problems, career related conflicts, relocation related
issues, self-esteem, relationship conflict, ADHD, OCD
and anger problems.
As a counselor, I strive to facilitate the process of a client
solving his or her own problems while also
demonstrating a genuine concern and transmitting
empathy towards their dilemmas. Overall, my philosophy
as a therapist is to treat each person as a unique
individual, regardless of his or her personal
circumstances or battles.
My role as a therapist is to meet you where you are and
guide you to where you want to be, while establishing a
genuine connection and validating each one's personal
struggles. I like to tell my clients that nothing changes if
nothing change.

Ida is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive psychotherapy experience providing psychotherapy to both adults and children. Ida has clinical experience in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, divorce, and self esteem. She works with individuals and families. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Ida earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Carlos Albizu University.

Odalys is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive psychotherapy experience providing psychotherapy to both adults and children. Odalys’s has clinical experience in the areas of domestic violence and Autism related disorders. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is the author of the book “Learning our life”. Odalys earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Barry University. She also has a PhD in Clinical Sexology.

Welcome to Patricia Lomando, LCSW.,RPT-S, she is joining the Pinecrest Counseling Clinical Team. Ms Lomando is a psychotherapist providing services to the whole family, using a variety of evidence based approaches with adults and couples. Ms Lomando is Certified in Infant Mental Health and a Registered Play Therapist, with over 21 years experience. Ms Lomando has developed a strong passion and personal ties to Autism and she has spent the last 10 years specializing in ways to modify current autism approaches into respectful interventions that validate and support the autistic experience. Ms Lomando is a certified Autplay therapist with extensive training and experience in Floor-Time and Play Project. Ms. Lomando uses various approaches such as CBT, Brief Strategic Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy and Conscious Disciplining. Pinecrest Counseling is delighted to have Ms. Lomando aboard to bring all her knowledge and expertise to our community. #

Mary uses a solution focused approach to address those problem areas. Mary uses a collaborative approach to identify the issue and work toward a solution that is beneficial to the patient. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Mary earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from St Thomas University.
