Preventative care is so important! While these tips are some of our favorite, other things you can do include:
1- eating healthy! Simple carbohydrates and added sugar can do a number on your teeth. Stick to foods that are high in protein and have good sources of vitamin D like salmon! Foods rich in calcium are also recommended!
2- breathing through your nose! When you breathe through your mouth, you can “dry things out”. Cavities thrive in this type of environment. Ensuring proper nasal breathing can help decrease the incidence of cavities!
3- no nail biting! Habits like nail biting or chewing on a pencil can have adverse effects on your chompers! Stick to using your teeth for food only!

Dr. Greg - Amazing Grace
Here is Dr. Greg playing Amazing Grace on the bagpipes at an Ionia elementary school. He played in honor of a man named Brion who died of pancreatic cancer. At this ceremony, Brion's family donated a Buddy Bench to the school so children who do not have a friend to play with at recess will be able to find a new friend at the bench.
