BIG NEWS! We are excited to welcome the providers and staff at Pinehurst Neurology to the FirstHealth family.

Pinehurst Neurology has been serving patients in Pinehurst and surrounding communities for more than four decades. They offer headache and migraine care, sleep disorder diagnostics, neurodiagnostics, infusion therapies and adult neurologic disease management.

As FirstHealth Neurology - Page Drive, the practice will retain its familiar team and location while gaining access to FirstHealth’s broader resources and collaborative specialty care system.

What began as a curious fifth-grader’s STEM lesson quickly sparked a career journey for 18-year-old Kymora Poole, a Hoke County High School senior who now works as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

🎁 🎄 📚 🧸 An amazing gift...

We were overwhelmed this week to see how members of our community supported the recent book drive at Books-A-Million in Southern Pines. The store collected items worth more than $22,000.

They dropped the games, books and toys off at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital this week, making sure that pediatric patients across the FirstHealth system will receive a little extra comfort this holiday season.

🏆 AWARD WINNERS! Congratulations to Hope Cole, PA-C, with Sandhills Emergency Physicians and Shelby Yow-Hayes, R.T., CRA, imaging director at MRH-Hoke, for being recognized at the recent Greater Fayetteville Business Journal Health Care Heroes Awards.

Hope was awarded the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Health Care Hero Award, with the nomination mentioning Hope's energy, compassion and skill. Shelby received the Unsung Hero Award. She never wants credit for her success and always approaches her work in a collaborative way.

NEWS | FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital has earned multiple national and statewide distinctions for exceptional orthopaedic care from Healthgrades. MRH was ranked among the top three hospitals in the state for joint replacement. In addition, Moore Regional received five-star ratings for several orthopaedic procedures, including:

- Total knee replacement

🩺 Our care team in Fayetteville is growing as we welcome certified family nurse practitioner Miyah Perry to FirstHealth Family Medicine - Pinnacle. Perry brings a wealth of knowledge and over a decade of experience to her new role.

Growing up in a military family in Fayetteville, Perry earned her associate degree in EMS from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 2009 and proudly served Cumberland and Hoke County EMS for nearly 10 years. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of North Carolina-Pembroke in 2016, before earning her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama.
