How quickly will I heal?! This is the most common question during any consultation. While final healing from most procedures is anywhere from 9-12 months, “initial” healing is more procedure dependent. A lip lift procedure is one of the most common procedures I perform. Just putting a “mesh” in without securing it does not provide adequate breast crease support! This client had an absorbable mesh placed during her initial surgery and it obviously did not work. Correction of bottoming out/pocket reconstruction involves re-creating the breast crease with a custom lattice of sutures directly to the chest wall. This secures implants to an appropriate position and eliminates ni**le show! Implant reconstruction procedures are common in our practice and we perform around 100 per year.
