FACT: A mental health diagnosis has nothing to do with a person’s mental, physical, and emotional capacity.

Joan Marie Mischler lived a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to her family and community. She shared more than 80 years alongside her beloved husband, Bill, standing by him with unwavering support throughout his service to Pinellas Park as a City Councilman and Mayor. As a longstanding Vincent House board member, Bill was often joined by Joan, whose warmth and kindness were a welcome presence in the Clubhouse community.

Vincent House is grateful for her dedication and years of service to the Pinellas Park community. In lieu of flowers, Joan's family has asked that you make a donation to Vincent House Pinellas at the link below. We love you Joan! You are forever in our hearts.

FACT: Right now, more than 50 Vincent House members are continuing their education — from professional certifications to master's degrees and beyond. A diagnosis doesn't define what's possible. It never has.
