What an unforgettable weekend at the Queen City Classic!
A huge thank you to the Charlotte Rollin' Hornets for hosting an incredible tournament that brought together so many talented teams and athletes. Your commitment to the adaptive sports community makes events like this possible, and we are grateful for the energy, organization, and heart you poured into this weekend!
Shoutout to all of the athletes who joined us for the Top End clinic! We loved seeing your passion, growth, and drive on the court — we hope to see you again next year and can’t wait to keep pushing together!
Special thanks to the 24 game officials, led by Buddy Barnes, and the 8 classifiers led by Tonya Fromm — your dedication allowed 20+ athletes to receive classifications this weekend, opening doors and fueling future competition. Thank you for the vital work you do for our sport!
Tournament Highlights:
• DI — Dallas Mavericks dominated with a 4–0 run, winning by an average of 39 points
• Women’s / DII — 5x defending National Champion University of Alabama Women went 4–0, winning by 30+ ppg
• DIII — Coastal & Charlotte split the weekend series
• Military Division — BridgeIISports Sharpshooters finished 2–0
• Auburn vs. Alabama delivered a thrilling finish — one of many battles we’ll be watching this season!
