The Weekend Story
Bert had emergency surgery three years ago. However, during the surgery, he had both a heart attack and a stroke. He never really recovered. He is very disabled and though mentally sound and technically astute, it is very difficult for him to move about or talk. This past weekend, we took him on a weekend excursion. We stopped first on Saturday to enjoy Moussaka at Mykonos, the famous, authentic Greek restaurant on Dodekennse, at the Sponge Docks of Tarpon Springs. Then, we went to Fred Howard Park for sunset over the Gulf. Bert was delighted. On Sunday evening, we were with friends for the Memorial of Jesus' death. A deeply spiritual event. After each day's event, we dropped Bert off at his Assisted Living Facility at the Highland Pines Rehab in Clearwater. The staff and nurses had Bert ready at the door, right on time, clean and tidy.

Renting the van from Triple S made things VERY easy. Another rental service required a three-day rental. We'd have to pay for an extra day we didn't need. Laurie at Triple S had Ben ready for me Saturday noon for pick-up and the van was dropped back off on Monday. It was a wonderful weekend for all. Triple S made it easy. Thank you.
