As a 501c3, we are NOT a shelter. We are a sanctuary for cats 14 years old and older. Our main focus is hospice and diabetic geriatric cats.

They will not be adopted out and will live their golden years in the comfort of THEIR home.

Please help us welcome Chloe (previously Mary). She is 15 and a hospice. She is in the kitchen with Garfield so she can be better monitored. The vet said yesterday she has a cancerous mass on her abdominal wall that was not there a couple of months ago. Also her back right leg has some neurological issues and she is not able to use it. There are a few other medical issues, however, the care does not change. We will give her the best pain free end of life that we can.

We want to say a HUGE Thank You to Ella. After she lost her dog this past year, she learned the hard way, as we all do, the pain and grief of losing a furbaby. She decided to do something in their honor. Ella made a goal to get donations from friends and family this past holiday season to donate to a couple rescues. We were 1 of those recipients of this young lady's enormous heart and generosity. They stopped by today for a tour, to drop off these awesome donations, and to give the furseniors some extra attention. Thank you SO much Ella.

We had an awesome visitor today who also brought goodies for the furseniors. They stayed a while and gave extra pets, attention, and TREATS! Thank you so much for your time and donation. We very much appreciate it and the furseniors absolutely love extra attention. 🥰💜

After the 1st of the year, we are going to be readjusting our priorities and focus here. over the last 6 years since we started, hospice is our passion. Through the tears and loss, it is the main thing that calls us. So, we are going to focus more on the hospice and geriatric diabetics. There will be a few spots for regular seniors on a case by case. We are a very small sanctuary and want to keep it small so we can give each fursenior the most attention they deserve in their last days.

Quick video of the finished catio. We will get a table and chairs or something and get some good florida furniture for them. Also have a new cat door coming. Cubbies are good for now tho.
