I Believe that counseling should be accessible to everyone, so I offer Skype online counseling for those in remote areas unable to find an open gender therapist, and also work with a sliding scale.

When we're feeling down, questioning choices that we may have made, have anxiety thinking too much about what could or is happening in the future, it is so important to stay mindful and try to stay in the present as much as possible.
Here are a couple of tips on things to try that can help:
1) Set Mindful intentions - say things to yourself like, "I intend to treat myself with compassion" or "I will allow myself to relax today"
2) When you catch yourself having an anxious or negative thought, instead of getting caught up in the thought, watch it drift by, visualize it floating away in a river, or being taken by the wind.
3) Don't forget to breathe, breathing helps reduce the physical symptoms of anxiety. Try anchor breathing, place your hand where you feel your breathing the most (stomach, ribcage, under your nose) this hand placement is your anchor, Breathe in focusing on the anchor, breathe out focusing on the anchor...try this for a minute and use your anchor if you find your mind wondering.
4) Listen to music - if you find your mind going back to the anxious thoughts, focus on the music. Personally when anxious, I tend to navigate towards songs that empower me, or speak to me in some way.
