Sunday changes everything.

Holy Week has a lot in it, and honestly, it feels a lot like life.
Highs and lows.
Victory and heartbreak.
Hope and confusion.
Moments where it feels like God is moving in a powerful way, and moments where it seems like everything has gone horribly wrong.

Jesus entered Jerusalem and it looked like victory.
Then came tension.
Then betrayal.
Then the cross.
Then the tomb.
Then silence.

But Sunday.

Sunday reminds us that no matter where we are in life, God is still in control.
In the great times, He is there.
In the worst times, He is there.
When life feels clear, He is there.
When life feels heavy, confusing, and dark, He is still there.

The tomb was not the end.
What looked finished was not finished.
What looked dead was not dead forever.

He rose.

And because He rose, hope rose.
Because He rose, darkness does not get the final word.
Because He rose, death was defeated.
Because He rose, the saving power of Jesus was put on full display.
The resurrection was not just a miracle to stand back and admire. It was the victory that made a way for us to have eternal life, redemption, and real hope through Him.

Jesus did not just rise to prove He had power.
He rose so that sin, death, and the grave would not have the final word over us.
He rose so that through Him we could be forgiven, made new, and brought near to God.
He rose to give us a hope deeper than circumstance and stronger than death itself.

Have you ever had a season where it felt like your hope, your strength, your dream, or your future got put in a tomb?
Like life knocked the wind out of you?
Like all you could see was the stone in front of you?

Sunday is the reminder that God still moves stones.
He still brings life where things feel dead.
He still works in places that look too far gone.

That is part of why we do what we do here at The Gym.

Our commitment is not just to help you get stronger physically.
It is to impact you through the love of Christ working through us, to help strengthen you spiritually and physically.

We want to encourage you when life gets heavy.
We want to stand with you when hope feels low.
We want to remind you that your story is not over.

This is bigger than fitness.
This is deeper than workouts.
This is about people.
Purpose.
Faith.
Strength.
Community.
And showing up for one another through every season.

From the all of us at The Gym thank you for being part of The Gym family.

Saturday has a weight to it.

Stop for a moment and pause.
Put yourself back there.

You are one of His disciples.
For the last three years you walked with Jesus, talked with Him, learned from Him, sat around campfires with Him, ate with Him, laughed with Him, watched Him heal, watched Him love, watched Him change everything around Him. You loved Him not just as a teacher, but as a friend. You believed He was the One.

And now He is in the tomb.

All your hope feels like it is laying there with Him.
All your dreams.
All your vision of the future.
Everything you thought was coming next now feels buried.

Have you ever felt like that?
Like your hopes and dreams have been placed in a tomb?
Like what you were believing for has gone silent?
Like life got heavy, hope got buried, and now you are just sitting in the dark trying to make sense of it all?

That kind of pain is real.
When something dies, when a dream falls apart, when life hits hard, it can leave you numb, confused, tired, and hollow. Time feels weird. Your chest feels heavy. Your thoughts get loud. And sometimes all you can see is the stone in front of you.

Saturday is that kind of day.
The day where heaven seems quiet.
The day where hope looks buried.
The day where nothing feels clear.

But just because God feels silent does not mean He is absent.
Just because something feels buried does not mean He is done.
Just because it looks over does not mean resurrection is not already moving where you cannot yet see it.

That is part of why we care so much here at The Gym.

Our commitment is not just to help you get stronger physically.
It is to impact you through the love of Christ working through us, to help strengthen you spiritually and physically.

We want to encourage you when life feels heavy.
We want to stand with you when hope feels low.
We want to help remind you that even when it feels like your dreams are sitting in a tomb, your story is not over.

That is bigger than fitness.
That is deeper than workouts.
That is about pouring into people with purpose, faith, love, and strength.

Good Friday has me thinking about the why behind what we do.

At The Gym, we are not just here to count reps, chase goals, or go through motions. We are here to serve, to encourage, to believe in people, and to pour into others in a real way.

For me, that why starts here.

Today is a day of humble remembrance. A day to remember the love of Jesus poured out through sacrifice. The cross was not just pain. It was love. It was service. It was laying Himself down so others could live.

And that love changes how I want to lead.
It changes how I want to treat people.
It changes why we do what we do for our members.

The care, the encouragement, the push, the belief, the community, the desire to help you become stronger in body, mind, and life, that does not just come from business. It comes from something deeper.

Through His love poured out to us, we want to pour love out to you all.

That is the why behind the what.

From me, Jeremiah, thank you for being part of The Gym family.
