Sunday changes everything.
Holy Week has a lot in it, and honestly, it feels a lot like life.
Highs and lows.
Victory and heartbreak.
Hope and confusion.
Moments where it feels like God is moving in a powerful way, and moments where it seems like everything has gone horribly wrong.
Jesus entered Jerusalem and it looked like victory.
Then came tension.
Then betrayal.
Then the cross.
Then the tomb.
Then silence.
But Sunday.
Sunday reminds us that no matter where we are in life, God is still in control.
In the great times, He is there.
In the worst times, He is there.
When life feels clear, He is there.
When life feels heavy, confusing, and dark, He is still there.
The tomb was not the end.
What looked finished was not finished.
What looked dead was not dead forever.
He rose.
And because He rose, hope rose.
Because He rose, darkness does not get the final word.
Because He rose, death was defeated.
Because He rose, the saving power of Jesus was put on full display.
The resurrection was not just a miracle to stand back and admire. It was the victory that made a way for us to have eternal life, redemption, and real hope through Him.
Jesus did not just rise to prove He had power.
He rose so that sin, death, and the grave would not have the final word over us.
He rose so that through Him we could be forgiven, made new, and brought near to God.
He rose to give us a hope deeper than circumstance and stronger than death itself.
Have you ever had a season where it felt like your hope, your strength, your dream, or your future got put in a tomb?
Like life knocked the wind out of you?
Like all you could see was the stone in front of you?
Sunday is the reminder that God still moves stones.
He still brings life where things feel dead.
He still works in places that look too far gone.
That is part of why we do what we do here at The Gym.
Our commitment is not just to help you get stronger physically.
It is to impact you through the love of Christ working through us, to help strengthen you spiritually and physically.
We want to encourage you when life gets heavy.
We want to stand with you when hope feels low.
We want to remind you that your story is not over.
This is bigger than fitness.
This is deeper than workouts.
This is about people.
Purpose.
Faith.
Strength.
Community.
And showing up for one another through every season.
From the all of us at The Gym thank you for being part of The Gym family.
